Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Carry out treatment plans developed by physical therapists, observing and documenting patient responses and progress.
• Utilize advanced modalities and specialized equipment during therapy sessions, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and expected outcomes, using your interpersonal and communication skills to foster understanding and motivation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to infection control protocols during patient interactions and treatment activities to ensure a safe environment.
• Participate actively in continuing education and in-service training to stay abreast of developments in the field and enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from surgery, trauma, or chronic illnesses, as well as geriatric patients requiring skilled rehabilitation therapy. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Physical Therapist Assistant position will possess:

• An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (consideration will be given to new graduates).

Compensation and Benefits
