Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, our Maintenance Team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and execute repairs that minimize downtime and support production goals.

This position requires a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can work independently while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and workplace organization.

Job Requirements

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain motors, conveyor systems, production machinery, and pneumatic tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance data accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to TE Connectivity's Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.


Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.

ITAR

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

What your background should look like

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in:
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems (low and high voltage)
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatic systems
    • Electronic controls
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programs.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,600- $78,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
