Full job description
Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting manufacturing and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Asheville, NC
Pay Range: $20
Shift: 2nd shift - 3:30 AM to 1:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Verify electronic transactions for consistency and accuracy with paper documents.
- Ensure that non-conforming material (NCM) information is updated accurately.
- Place processing certifications in the Document History Record (DHR) and keep a running balance.
- Perform final review of the DHR, including reconciliation and close-out procedures.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with Manufacturing and Warehouse departments, ensuring product quality and compliance.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in SAP QM system is preferred.
- Certification by ASQ is a plus.
- Prior experience in a quality position with good documentation practices.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English, and perform basic math operations.
