Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, examining their medical history and performing specific assessments to understand their physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, which include clear goals that align with the patients' health objectives and incorporate family input.
  • Implement various evidence-based treatment protocols, monitoring patient progress and adapting care as necessary to respond to their evolving needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of treatment sessions, including accurate notes on evaluations, progress, and modifications to care plans to comply with healthcare regulations.
  • Facilitate effective discharge planning to ensure a seamless transition for patients out of therapy, including recommendations for follow-up care.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and consult with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing educational opportunities to maintain and enhance your clinical skills, positioning yourself as a leader in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of patients, ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management and preventative care. Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensure: Valid and current Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey.
  • Certification: American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.
  • Collaborative mentality with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
