Full job description

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert ultrasound imaging and team leadership across our Georgia care settings. In this role, you will perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensure image quality and patient safety, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to support timely clinical decisions. You will mentor and precept sonographers, help standardize protocols, maintain equipment readiness, and support quality and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for an experienced, patient-focused sonographer ready to take on a visible leadership role in a mission-driven health system.
