Nocturnist Hospitalist (MD/DO) - Sinai Hospital | Baltimore, MD

Role: Nocturnist Physician
Job Type: Full-Time, Employed
Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (Wednesday-Tuesday rotation)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Overview

Sinai Hospital, a 483-bed nonprofit teaching hospital and the largest community hospital in Maryland, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Nocturnist to join a high-performing hospital medicine team.

Our program includes 34 physicians and 14 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), delivering high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care in a collaborative academic environment.

Position Highlights

  • Inpatient-only hospital medicine (No outpatient responsibilities)
  • No call required
  • Closed ICU (procedures optional)
  • Night team includes 3 physicians + 2 APPs per shift
  • Strong subspecialty support and on-site diagnostics (labs, imaging, consults)
  • Moonlighting opportunities available
  • Teach and supervise residents, interns, and medical students


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $285,000 (based on experience, specialty, and board certification)

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for Maryland Medical License (unrestricted)
