About the Position

We are currently seeking a Local CDL A Driver. This position involves delivering donation barrels to customer locations within the Kansas City area. Drivers will operate box trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Pay Rate: $25/hour
  • Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM
  • Hours per Week: 40

Job Details

  • License Type: CDL A
  • Route Type: Local delivery
  • Freight: Donation barrels
  • Equipment: Box trucks, 53' or 40' trailers with liftgate
  • Handling: Use of an electric pallet jack for loading and unloading

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload donation barrels at customer locations, sometimes requiring assistance with a liftgate.
  • Operate box trucks and trailers with automatic transmission.
  • Ensure all products picked up throughout the day are unloaded at designated locations.
  • Follow all safety protocols during deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
