Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our commercial mechanical construction team. This position offers hands-on training and career growth under the guidance of experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers on large-scale commercial projects such as schools, hospitals, and industrial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of piping systems including water, gas, drainage, and vent lines.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
Carry, measure, and cut pipe to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Follow all company and job site safety protocols.
Attend and actively participate in training and apprenticeship classes.
Take direction and constructive feedback to build technical skills and trade knowledge.
Qualifications
Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a state-approved plumbing apprenticeship program.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Strong understanding of job site safety and compliance.
Reliable transportation to various job sites
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.
