Well established calibration, testing and inspection service organization in Bartlett, TN area is seeking a Electronics Calibration Technician for a full-time position. The candidate will be responsible for the calibration of mechanical inspection, measuring and testing equipment in the field work at the customers' location, as needed.

The candidate will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. The candidate should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must. Candidates must travel on-site to calibrate a variety of inspection, measuring and testing equipment.

Electronic Calibration Technician

Job Description:

Candidate will be required to travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. Candidate will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. Candidate should be a self starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring test equipment

• AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.)

• RF Frequency measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, FR counters)

• Temperature & Humidity devices (data loggers, hygrometer, environmental chambers, ovens)

• High Voltage Generating and Measuring equipment (Hipot tester, Meggers, Insulation testers)

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations

Requirements

• Candidate should have previous experience in electronic equipment calibration; Candidates with experience using electronic measurement equipment will also be considered.

• Commercial or Military experience acceptable

• Position will require daily travel - most travel would be within a 6-hour range of Memphis, TN. Current technicians average 10 overnights per month.

• Position would require driving as well as flying to job sights on occasion.

• Candidate shall be able to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands and ATS schedule. Overtime and occasional weekend work required.

• Candidate shall provide their own cell phone with data plan for connection to ATS email and multi-factor authentication.

• Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds.

• Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
