Position Summary
The main objective of this role is to perform order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping critical clinical trial finished goods (CTFG) from the Indianapolis Distribution Hub (K401) to domestic and international Clinical Test Sites, depots and hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload, put-a-way, pick, pack and ship CTFG’s. This includes interaction with warehouse management system via a handheld RF device. Pack orders following strict validated packing requirements
Comply with FDA, GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, TSA, C-TPAT and OSHA requirements
Ensure training plan is current and complete
Understand and accurately follow corporate and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local and federal laws and regulations, Lilly Ethics & Compliance requirements, and operational qualifications related to operator role
Actively adhere to and engage in safety programs and policies within the area of responsibility
Constantly look for areas of improvement in safety, compliance, data accuracy and efficiency
Support strategic portfolio needs and projects as assigned
Participate in Operational Excellence activities such as Huddles, A3s, Gemba Walks, etc
Other Responsibilities may include:
Ordering of warehouse consumables
Special Projects
Labeling of product
Cycle Counting
Destruction processes
Communication with freight forwarder personnel
Basic Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing and distribution
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.
Additional Requirements:
Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.
Must speak proficient English
Work outside of core hours is required to support the portfolio across the globe
Physical Requirements:
Standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending are required
Willingness to work in a chilled environment (5c)
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Warehouse experience including previous experience operating powered industrial trucks
Willingness to be flexible and willing to be cross-trained to perform multiple assignments
Willingness to work overtime with minimal notice
Demonstrated good work attendance history
Demonstrated high productivity rate in a team environment with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Strong computer skills
Warehouse management systems experience
Positive attitude
Accuracy and attention to detail
Work Environment:
This position’s work environment is in a warehouse and distribution center onsite at Lilly's Technology Center.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$18.02 - $35.43Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
