CDL A Regional Shuttle Driver - ($510.00 + $62.00 layover pay) per run

TransForce is seeking a Regional CDL A driver to support local operations based in Albertville, AL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

  • Schedule: Times/Days will vary depending on when the manufacturer releases (this is a float route to fill as needed) will be dispatched to run other regional routes when this route is not needed)

  • Pay: $510 per day/route plus $62 per layover

  • Route Type (Floater): Sleeper run to Ft. Wayne, Indiana

  • Freight / Load Type: Automotive parts

  • Handling: No touch freight, Drop & Hook

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

  • License: CDL A

  • Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

  • Endorsements: None

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

  • Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

  • Perform required handling tasks

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

  • Meet the physical demands of the role
