• 24hr call only shift -- no clinic duties
• 30-minute response time required
• 0 - 5 deliveries per shift; 500 deliveries per year average
• 0 - 10 patients seen per 24-hour call period
• Low and high risk pregnancy management required
• Complicated deliveries -- c-section, breech, VBACs, abruptions
• OB ultrasounds required -- Level I and Level II performance and interpretation
• Minor gynecology -- IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
