We are seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team of engineers and technologists supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Customs and Border Protection (CBP) / Air and Marine Operations (AMO) / Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) in their mission to protect the nation's borders and ensure the security of our communities. This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity where you will have the opportunity to evaluate, analyze, and ensure the effective operation of C4I communications capabilities and infrastructure, and make a meaningful impact on a global scale.
As an AMOC Senior Systems Engineer, you will:
- Evaluate, analyze C4I communications capability and interoperability
- Evaluate, analyze C4I communications infrastructure capability, capacity, and interoperability
- Evaluate, analyze the installation of C4I serial and IP radar and other C4I sensor inputs
- Evaluate, analyze the general state of network cabling, infrastructure to ensure it meets industry standards and configuration requirement and policy
- Conduct bandwidth analysis of the network and communication infrastructure
- Oversee and verify system, network, and communication as wired and data flow technical drawings
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in evaluating, analyzing, and ensuring the effective operation of C4I communications capabilities and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of C4I systems and technical requirements
- Experience with system design, development, and implementation
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
