Job Description
Job Summary
The Rehab Aide II assists the Physical and Occupational Therapy staff in providing rehabilitative services to pediatric patients. This role involves direct patient support, maintenance of treatment areas and equipment, and administrative tasks, all under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
Key Responsibilities
Communicates effectively on an interpersonal and informational level with peers, coworkers, patients, families, and others to benefit our customers, department and hospital.
Maintains a safe environment for patients and follows infection control policies.
Conducts environmental inspections.
Completes work orders for Plant Services.
Organizes and maintains tools and supplies.
Maintains inventory of shoe crepe, saw blades, sanding belts.
Checks, adjusts and replaces belts or blades on shoe machine and band saw.
Empties vacuum bag on shoe machine as needed.
Cleans and organizes.
Keeps supplies and tools out of reach of children.
Maintains supplies on cast cart and in room.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
