General Surgery Locums Jobs in New Mexico Call Only Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Call only (beeper call)
Will accept multiple providers
Emergency credentialing available with clean history

Shift Description
Call response time: 30 minutes
Phone consults: 0-4
Patients seen on call: 0-4
Admissions on call: 0-5
Call ratio: 60%
Call coverage includes inpatient and outpatient
Call volume: low to moderate

Requirements
Board Certified in General Surgery
Must be licensed in NM
ACLS
BLS

Required Procedures/Skills
General Surgery: Adult, Trauma
Laparoscopic surgery
Appendectomy
Cholecystectomy
Ventilation management
Chest tube insertion
Central line insertion

Assignment Details
Patients per shift: 7-10
Beds in department: 32
Trauma Level: 3
