Job Details
We’re seeking an Accounting Manager who takes true ownership of the books and brings the judgment, discipline, and independence needed to maintain accurate, reliable, and decision-ready financials.
Reporting to senior operational leadership, this role will serve as the primary accounting authority for the organization. You’ll collaborate with an internal team member who supports basic bookkeeping and administrative finance activities. While this position does not have direct people-management responsibility, you’ll establish accounting standards, provide guidance, and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and consistently.
This is a full-time position based in Cleveland, OH. Candidates should be local to the Cleveland area or willing to relocate.
This role combines hands-on execution with significant ownership. You’ll manage the close, reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain clean books while proactively identifying and resolving issues. Success requires someone who can independently assess a problem, determine the appropriate solution, and communicate the outcome clearly to leadership.
The accounting structure is intentionally lean, providing significant autonomy and visibility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in accurate financials, enjoys solving problems independently, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
