This approximately 200-bed facility in Wisconsin maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery coverage across OR and ER settings. The facility operates on-site and provides the resources necessary to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. On-site support, including an existing Physician Associate, is in place to assist with continuity of care for the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

Year-round activities are available across the region, providing a well-rounded environment for clinicians during their time on assignment.

The Physician Associate will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across OR and ER settings on a day shift basis, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight call coverage running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM when on call. Substantial cardiovascular/thoracic surgery experience is required for this on-site assignment. Clinical responsibilities include endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), CABG assistance, postoperative cardiac and thoracic patient management, chest tube/drain/line management, and perioperative consultation. Prescriptive authority is required, and one existing Physician Associate is available on-site to support coverage.
