Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Lewisburg, PA
  • Position: Anesthesiologist
  • Schedule:
    • Shifts: 8 hr (7a 3p), 10 hr (7a 5p), 24 hr (7a 7a)
    • Call: Weekday call (Mon Thu), 2 weeks per month
    • No Friday call
  • Coverage: Mon Fri daytime with call
Work Details
  • ️ Support Staff: 20 CRNAs (in-house call coverage)
  • Team: Join a collegial group of 9 anesthesiologists collaborating with CRNAs
  • Model: 100% CRNA medical direction
  • Facility Highlights:
    • 131-bed hospital
    • 13 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, 2 cath labs
    • State-of-the-art ASC supervision
  • Case Mix: Bariatric, breast, general, gyn, ortho, plastics
    • No trauma, neuro, or cardiac
    • Regional anesthesia experience required (heavy ortho service)
  • Volume:
      • 600 surgical cases/month
      • 40 endoscopy cases/month
      • 700 deliveries/year
    • EMR: Epic
Requirements
  • Board Certification: Required
  • License: PA (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • CSR & DEA: Required
  • Vaccines: Mandatory (flu)
  • Additional: NPI & name clear
  • Credentialing: days
