Location: Hamburg, New Jersey
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $35.00–$55.00 per hour
Pay Type: Hourly
Earning Potential: $90,000–$130,000+ per year

DeBoer's Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Hamburg, New Jersey. Family-owned since 1982, we've built a reputation for honest service, quality workmanship, and taking care of both our customers and employees. We offer earning potential of $90,000–$130,000+ per year, a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, profit sharing, and a professional work environment where technicians are respected, supported, and given consistent workflow to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems.
- Diagnose drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and service engine, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and drivetrain systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance services as needed.
- Document inspections, diagnostic findings, and repair recommendations accurately.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship while working efficiently in a busy shop environment.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and leadership to deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience.
- A-Level or strong B-Level automotive diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a professional shop environment.
- Own professional automotive tools.
- ASE Certifications preferred.
- Experience working on multiple makes and models preferred.
- Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic experience preferred.

- $35.00–$55.00 per hour
