CONSTRUCTION SAFETY MANAGER

Build a Safer Jobsite. Strengthen the Safety Culture.

A leading construction organization is seeking a proactive, field-oriented Safety Manager to help lead company-wide safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, employee training, and jobsite risk reduction.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on safety professional who enjoys being in the field, working directly with crews and operations leaders, identifying risks, solving problems, and helping create a culture where safety and productivity go hand in hand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Identify hazards and work with operations teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and track incident, injury, and near-miss reports.
  • Develop and assist with Site-Specific Safety Plans, Job Safety Analyses, and pre-task hazard assessments.
  • Lead new-hire safety orientations, toolbox talks, and jobsite training.
  • Maintain OSHA logs, training records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
  • Monitor employee and subcontractor compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and project standards.
  • Partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field crews to reinforce safe work practices.
  • Support workers' compensation, incident follow-up, and return-to-work activities.
  • Participate in project planning, preconstruction, insurance, risk management, and jobsite meetings.
  • Respond to field safety concerns with practical, solutions-oriented recommendations.
  • Help drive a safety culture built around prevention, accountability, training, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is more than a compliance expert—they're a field leader and safety partner who can build trust with crews while maintaining high safety standards.

You'll bring:

  • 3–7 years of safety, construction, industrial, or related field experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Practical understanding of jobsite hazards, PPE, safe work practices, and incident prevention.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with operations and field personnel.
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites as required.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

You won't be sitting behind a desk simply checking boxes. You'll be in the field, working alongside the people who build the projects.

The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with field employees, supervisors, project managers, customers, subcontractors, and senior leadership—and will know how to hold people accountable while building positive working relationships.

If you're a safety professional who wants to make a real, measurable impact on jobsite safety, we'd like to hear from you.
