Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Two years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.

Special Requests: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Reliable personal transportation is essential because public transportation and rideshare services are not available in the area.

Unit Details: The position requires working independently as the sole Respiratory Therapist in the hospital during the night shift, with strong clinical judgment, prioritization skills, and the ability to respond confidently to emergent respiratory situations. Respiratory care is provided to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across critical care, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services. Respiratory care services include oxygen therapy, aerosol and humidity therapy, nebulizer treatments, mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, airway management, chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas collection, pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, resuscitation support, and patient education. Cardiopulmonary diagnostic work includes cardiac stress tests, Holter monitoring, ECGs, EEGs, and other cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Travelers will start on Wednesdays. During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start. Holiday coverage is required.
