The Cash Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating cash management activities, reconciling financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily operational processes. This role analyzes data, identifies discrepancies, collaborates with internal teams and external partners, and recommends process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily account reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy.
- Review reports and investigate discrepancies or variances.
- Process and reconcile financial transactions and maintain supporting documentation.
- Coordinate cash movement activities and monitor cash requirements.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Monitor inventory or asset levels and adjust ordering or replenishment activities as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve operational issues.
- Support vendor management activities, including service setup, changes, and maintenance.
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Utilize reporting tools and technology to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support automation efforts where applicable.
- Provide professional and responsive support to internal stakeholders and business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, financial operations, accounting, or a related administrative role.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
