What You'll Be Doing
- Support daily aggregate mining and production operations through hands-on field experience.
- Assist with safety, environmental, and operational compliance initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams on production and maintenance projects.
- Participate in problem-solving activities that improve operational efficiency, quality, and performance.

- Demonstrated interest in mining, geology, engineering, construction materials, or related fields.
- Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and support operational decision-making.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across diverse groups.

- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in both office and outdoor aggregate mining environments.
- Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, moving equipment, and active production areas.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated work areas.
- Moderate walking, standing, climbing, and lifting may be required throughout the internship.
- Travel between operational areas within the site may be necessary.
