Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Albany, NY

Pay Range: $24.50

Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on bakery production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Maintain conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging equipment, slicers, and other production machinery.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
