- Oversee the assembly and packaging of products to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Achieve and exceed targets for quality, productivity, uptime, on-time delivery, and cost.
- Perform work content at every station per work instruction and takt time as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment following 5S principles.
- Lead and coordinate cross-training of assembly line workers; maintain and update training matrix.
- Track daily attendance and complete timekeeping documentation accurately.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using the Rittal Production System (RPS).
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Quality, Engineering, and Planning to resolve production issues.
- Interface with internal suppliers (e.g., paint, fabrication) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through active engagement with peers, supervisors, and management.
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in assembly operations required; leadership experience preferred.
- Familiarity with basic 5S and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking.
- Wear safety-toed footwear
- Safety glasses with side shields
- Hearing protection
- Other PPE as required.
- Manufacturing and warehouse areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
- Fast-paced production environment requiring adaptability and multitasking.
