Earn $1,600-$1,700 Weekly
Home Daily | Monday-Friday Schedule
No-Touch Container Freight
PM Start Times: 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
Newark, NJ | Active TWIC Card Required

ProDrivers is hiring an experienced Local Truck Driver for a dedicated container freight opportunity in Newark, NJ. This is a great opportunity for a Class A Local Truck Driver seeking consistent weekly earnings, daily home time, and steady year-round work.

Pay & Schedule
  • Average $1,600-$1,700 weekly
  • Hourly pay plus incentive opportunities
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • PM dispatch between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM
  • Typical 10-12 hour shifts
  • Home daily
  • Full-time position

Local Truck Driver Responsibilities

As a Local Truck Driver, you will:
  • Haul containers to and from ports, rail yards, and customer locations
  • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
  • Complete local deliveries throughout the North Jersey market
  • Perform primarily drop-and-hook moves
  • Transport no-touch container freight
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
  • Maintain accurate trip documentation and required paperwork
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Active TWIC Card required
  • Minimum 12 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
  • Acceptable MVR and accident history with no more than one at-fault accident
  • No Clearinghouse violations
  • Consistent work history
  • Ability to safely operate in port, rail yard, and container environments

  • Hazmat endorsement
