Anesthesiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $315.25 - $341.25

This facility is seeking multiple Anesthesiology Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:
Call & requirements: In-house call preferred; schedule is Monday–Friday with 10- and 12-hour shifts; weekend coverage and On call rotation is 1:4; coverage is also needed at Chippenham and Tri Cities if required
Supervision vs independent: 1:4 care team model; physicians perform their own cases approximately 40% of the time
EMR: Medaxion (iPad-based system used across Commonwealth Anesthesia Associates sites)
Certifications required: Board Certification in Anesthesiology required; ACLS and BLS required; must be participating in Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
Number of operating rooms: 16 ORs in the Main OR; 2 additional C-section ORs in Labor & Delivery; anesthesia also provided in endoscopy, IR, gamma knife, MRI, CT, and additional Atrium ORs
License required or accepting IMLC: Active Virginia license required at time of submission; not accepting IMLC
