Acute Rehab PTA

As an Acute Rehab PTA at Encompass Health, you’ll deliver hands-on therapy to adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic surgery, and other complex conditions in an inpatient rehab setting. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will carry out individualized treatment plans, lead therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility activities to help patients regain independence. You’ll document care, communicate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and support a safe, compassionate, and goal-driven rehab environment focused on measurable outcomes and patient progress.
