Inside the Role
Lead a production operating unit of the plant in all areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental performance utilizing LEAN manufacturing principles, as well as robust continuous improvement, waste elimination, and problem solving processes.

Position offers a starting salary range of $128,000 - $164,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA:

  • Leads: Production Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, Team Leaders, and Assemblers.
  • Lead a production operating unit of the plant in all areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental performance utilizing LEAN manufacturing principles, as well as robust continuous improvement, waste elimination, and problem solving processes.
  • Direct all activities of the work group related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental performance. Provide coaching and mentoring to realize opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and eliminate waste.
  • Determine needs and priorities related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental. Identify and promote methods that will improve performance in all areas and ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Facilitate implementation of the recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide regular communication with all employees in the operating unit.
  • Ensure all operating unit employees are trained and practice TOS and LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Administer company and departmental policies and procedures. Address and resolve employee relations issues as they arise. Participate in the selection, training and corrective action of employees within the operating unit.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis to support decision making.


Knowledge You Should Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college with 6+ years of related experience OR 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • An attached resume is required
  • TOS and Lean Experience required
  • Microsoft Office Experience required


Exceptional Candidates Might Have:
  • At least 2 years of managerial, supervisory, or project lead experience in a truck Manufacturing plant
