Wage: $21.52 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own quality on the floor – Test blown film products for thickness, strength, COF, clarity, seal performance, and more
- Catch issues early – Identify defects like gels, contamination, gauge variation, and optical problems before they reach customers
- Be a go-to problem solver – Work directly with Production and Extrusion teams to troubleshoot and improve processes
- Keep things moving – Communicate results in real time so decisions happen fast
- Make it official – Prepare COAs, complete reports, and keep quality data accurate and audit-ready
- Stay hands-on – Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and keep your workspace sharp and organized
What You Bring
- Experience in blown film, converting, or flexible packaging
- Solid understanding of film properties and polymer behavior
- Confidence working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Detail oriented, results driven, fast learner, problem solver, great communication skills, good time management and organized and collaborative.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with Instron, KCOF, or Mocon testing equipment
- Exposure to ISO, GMP, or HACCP environments
