Role Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Environmental Services, the Associate Vice President – Client Development is responsible to lead the business development of projects and programs for Compliance, Remediation and Site Investigation, including providing leadership and management of key accounts, client relationships, and strategic initiativesWhat You'll Do
- Working with the Senior Vice President – Environmental Services, support the development and lead the execution of strategic plans to grow consulting services with a focus on compliance, remediation and site investigation services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with existing and potential clients, and negotiate contracts to achieve project capture and revenue targets.
- Seeks, through client partnering, to advance relationships to ‘trusted advisor’ status and to develop key accounts that have long, term and multi-practice support potential.
- Engages with potential and existing clients through meetings, conference attendance, site visits, and other means as considered appropriate and/or the most strategic.
- Is a champion and account manager for client individuals and sites, and continually promotes client goals, objectives and the schedule of deliverables as paramount importance.
- Interacts with clients assuring satisfaction with True Environmental’s services and interacting with operations to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner.
- Lead the development of proposals for potential new projects and programs.
- As needed, serves as a senior resource to lead/deliver project.
- Ensures assigned resources are executing work as planned and with high quality.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and other networking events to promote our services and enhance our visibility within the mining community.
- Reinforces collaboration and team building, ensures client focus, demonstrates commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivates others to create an engaging work culture.
- Monitors and promotes environmental health and worker safety.
- Mentors junior/intermediate project team members.
- Conducts senior reviews of technical deliverables and programs in area(s) of expertise.
- All other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of previous experience working in environmental consulting, A/E/C or relevant industry.
- 10+ years of business development experience and leading/building client relationships
- Ability to work effectively with team members on multi-disciplinary projects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
