Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services within our not-for-profit, integrated health system. In this role, you will perform complex sonographic exams, optimize image quality, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to support accurate diagnoses. You’ll lead and mentor sonographers, support scheduling and workflow across sites, and champion patient-centered care. The Lead Sonographer also helps drive quality improvement, maintains equipment readiness, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes continuous learning in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
