Responsibilities: This person will support daily sales, agronomy, and operational activities across multiple MFA locations. This role is designed as a development pathway toward future leadership positions within MFA. The Specialist is motivated, customer-focused, and eager to build expertise in agronomy, grain, operations, and territory management. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure timely crop protection, seed, and fertilizer plans for the growing season
  • Gather and organize farm data to support agronomic planning and decision-making 
  • Promote and support the sale of MFA products, programs, and services
  • Assist Location Managers with operational support as needed
  • Assist with inventory management improvements across multiple locations
  • Support product movement, delivery coordination, and operational efficiency 
  • Maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and assist with deliveries as needed
  • Develop strong on-farm customer relationships
  • Participate in direct farm visits for sales and product recommendations
  • Assist with complaint resolution, farm mapping, data collection, and pest identification

Qualifications

  • Interest in agronomy, agriculture operations, or agricultural business
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to changing priorities
  • CDL required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in agriculture, sales, or operations is helpful but not required
