What you will do:
As an Electrical Engineer – Sustaining, you’ll focus on maintaining and enhancing existing fire detection hardware – including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Your work will help ensure long-term product reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products
Collaborate with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams
Implement design improvements and cost optimizations
Support product lifecycle activities, including component obsolescence and redesigns
Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards
What You will bring:

Required Skills
Degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years experience in embedded hardware design and troubleshooting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
Preferred Skills
Experience with low-power analog circuit design
Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters
Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
SALARY RANGE: $94,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
