Radiation Therapist - Travel Job

What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist

• BLS certification

• ARRT(T) -- RT(T) or higher

• Experience performing CT simulations

• Proficiency with Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R&V system

• Knowledge of 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT treatment delivery

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Patient volume: approximately 25-35 patients daily.
• Equipment: single Elekta linear accelerator.
• Scrub color: Black.

Location Highlights

Joplin, Missouri offers quick access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions. Grand Falls, the largest continuously flowing natural waterfall in Missouri, is about 15 minutes from central Joplin, and Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center provides trails and Shoal Creek access within the city. Route 66 history is visible at the Route 66 Mural Park and along historic downtown, while George A. Spiva Center for the Arts and the Cornell Complex add arts and local events near the urban core. For weekend travel, Tulsa is about 2 hours west and Springfield is about 1.5 hours northeast, giving travelers access to larger metro amenities while staying in a smaller hospital-market setting.
