Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT)
20–24 Hours Per Week | Beverly to Ipswich

Are you looking for an Occupational Therapist position that offers flexibility, independence, and meaningful one-on-one patient care?
Join Elara Caring’s Home Health team and help patients regain confidence, improve daily living skills, and remain independent in the place they feel most comfortable—their homes. This 20–24-hour-per-week position offers a localized North Shore territory from Beverly to Ipswich and the support of an experienced clinical team.
What You’ll Do
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide personalized therapy services in accordance with physician orders while helping patients improve their safety, function, and independence at home.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluating patients and developing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Helping patients improve daily living skills, fine motor coordination, mobility, and overall function
Teaching patients and caregivers home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe equipment use
Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans based on changing needs
Communicating changes in condition, safety concerns, and progress to physicians and the care team
Coordinating adaptive equipment and specialized devices, including custom splints when needed
Providing direction and supervision to COTAs, Home Health Aides, and other clinical staff involved in patient care

What You’ll Need
Current, unrestricted Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
At least one year of experience in a clinical care setting
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record or reliable transportation
Ability to travel between patient homes throughout the assigned territory
Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently and lift 50–100 pounds
