Specialty Market Manager

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Market Manager to lead the daily operations of a growing specialty market and deli. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality food, exceptional customer service, and developing a strong team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of up to 20 employees.
• Deliver exceptional, guest-focused customer service.
• Oversee proper portioning of cheese, meats, deli items, and prepared foods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing market and deli.
• Coordinate and execute large catering orders.
• Monitor inventory and communicate product pars to the Executive Chef.
• Oversee product quality, merchandising, food safety, and daily operations.
• Manage scheduling, training, labor, and overall team performance.

Qualifications

• Management experience in a specialty market, deli, grocery, restaurant, or similar food-service environment.
• Passion for specialty food products, including cheese, charcuterie, and prepared foods.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with portion control, inventory, and catering preferred.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong attention to detail.

• Base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
