Hours: Part Time - Nights
Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified applicants
The IV Nursing Team at Sentara Obici Hospital offers RNs an exceptional opportunity to practice advanced, compassionate care in a collaborative and supportive environment. This team is service oriented and consultative rounding to all units assisting with central lines. The IV nurse will access medi-ports and assist bedside staff with medi-ports, place midlines (will receive on the job training for this), respond to all MRTs and Code Blues, and cross train for the monitor room.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Education
- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 1 year of hire (Required)
Experience
- 2 years of acute care experience (highly preferred)
- Experience with ports, and Ultrasound IV placement (Preferred)
- Critical care experience (preferred)
