Full job description

Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Mission Readiness Service Trainer to join their team. As a Mission Readiness Service Trainer, you will be part of the Mission Control Training team supporting Mission Readiness operators, Training Supervisors, and Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mission Readiness Service Trainer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: $37.00/hour

What's the Job?

  • Deliver hands-on training through classroom instruction, demonstrations, coaching, and feedback for new and experienced Mission Readiness operators.
  • Assess operator performance by grading hands-on evaluations, conducting audits, and providing actionable feedback.
  • Review performance data and address training gaps in collaboration with mentors and Training Supervisors.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of training materials and standardized operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining operational proficiency through monthly service participation.


What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3 months as a fully trained Mission Readiness team member and 1–3 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle (AV) industry.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Knowledge of Mission Readiness procedures with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25% and work varied schedules to support training events.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening.
