What You'll Do

As the Staff Accountant at Trü Frü, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-growing consumer brand. You'll manage general ledger functions, financial statements, and reporting
while contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As Trü Frü continues to grow, this is a great opportunity to develop your accounting career, work cross-functionally with a dynamic team, and drive continuous improvement in our financial processes.

*This is a temporary role in Salt Lake City, Utah and is on-site 3 days/week with an anticipated end date of December 2027*

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for balance sheet and P&L accounts with proper supporting documentation; support periodic balance sheet reviews and flag significant findings to management.
• Assist in preparing internal financial statements, including variance analysis and financial highlights for senior management distribution.
• Support year-end closing activities including financial statement consolidation, equity account reconciliation, and related analytics.
• Participate in internal and external audit preparation and information collection; support business unit result submissions to parent company financial reporting systems.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and provide general accounting support to the Finance team; stay current on emerging accounting issues and their impact on the company's financial position.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Financial Management.
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; strong analytical and communication
  skills.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods and/or auditing a plus
• CPA eligible or working towards CPA licensure preferred
