Job Summary:

In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, and ensure our recycling infrastructure operates safely and reliably to support our commitment to sustainability.

Requirements:
- Licensing: Valid trade certification (Industrial Millwright or Industrial Electrician preferred).
- Maintenance Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to understand and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Welding Experience: Proven experience with arc, MIG, or TIG welding is a strong asset for fabrication and structural repairs.
- Safety Commitment: Ability to successfully satisfy all company standards for safety-sensitive operational roles, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and flexibility to support various shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet facility operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conveyor & System Maintenance: Perform specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on large-scale conveyor systems, sorting machinery, balers, and screens to ensure continuous flow.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs to keep facility equipment in top working order.
- Repair & Troubleshooting: Promptly diagnose and repair operational failures to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
- Documentation: Accurately complete work orders, maintenance logs, and parts request forms daily.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, provincial/federal health and safety regulations, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
- Reporting: Promptly report equipment issues, facility hazards, or safety incidents to maintenance leadership.
- Facility Upkeep: Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and compliant state at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with operations and production teams to ensure smooth, efficient daily facility workflows.
- Additional Duties: Perform other operational duties as assigned by leadership.
