Our client, a leading organization in the supply chain and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Specialist
Location: Eagan, MN
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hour
Position Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire
Shift: Sunday - Thursday
Sunday: 12:00PM - end (typically 8 hours)
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 6:00AM - 3:00PM
Wednesday: 10:00AM - finish (typically 8 hours)
What's the Job?
- Perform complex support tasks within the supply chain or operations, including analyzing operational reports and interfacing with carriers on requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of documents and data processing, utilizing knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures.
- Identify operational or service concerns through data analysis and collaborate with relevant groups to resolve issues.
- Track orders and shipments, including domestic and international operations, and assist with tracing as needed.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports, presenting insights to team members and supervisors.
What's Needed?
- HS/GED Completion.
- Experience communicating with carriers - airline, shipping, truck & related carriers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to address complex customer and carrier inquiries.
- Ability to work with databases, logs, and various software systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.
- Ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
