Watson Refrigeration is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting operations. This is a hands-on role focused on processing invoices, coordinating vendor payments, maintaining accurate records, and resolving discrepancies.

This position must work in our Raleigh office. Remote work is not available.

What You’ll Do

• Review, enter, and process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
• Prepare and process vendor payments according to established procedures.
• Communicate with vendors about invoice questions, payment status, and account discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
• Work with internal teams to obtain approvals and resolve missing or incorrect information.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a professional approach to vendor relationships.
• Comfort working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• BuildOps experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work on-site in our Raleigh office.
