Full job description
School Speech Language Pathologist Contract in Newark, MD for a 36-week assignment. Provide speech and language therapy to PreK-3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities, develop individualized plans, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to PreK-3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication goals.
Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, or an equivalent degree.
Maryland State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting.
Experience working with PreK-3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Background check clearance.
Ability to work on-site in Newark, MD.
