Full job description

School Speech Language Pathologist Contract position located in or near Colorado Springs, CO. The role lasts 36 weeks with compensation up to $70 per hour based on experience. The position offers an opportunity to impact students in grades K-8 through assessment and therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-8

  • Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to students with diverse communication disorders

  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress and goals

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-wide programs as needed

Qualifications:

  • Colorado State SLP License or equivalent in good standing

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting, managing a caseload of 50-60 K-8 students

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a school environment

  • Background check clearance and ability to work days shift
