About The Opportunity

The role of the Group Leader-Sheeting is to provide guidance to employees in the department in the Supervisor’s absence.

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures 

• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines 

• Read work orders to determine properly preformed products are produced 

• Maintain accurate production records 

• Communicate information as needed to employees, shift supervisor and next shift group leader or machine operator 

• Ensure high levels of production, maximizing efficiency with planned work assignments 

• Maintain a clean work area ensuring a safe working environment 

• Train new operators as needed 

• Oversee general preventive maintenance on equipment 

• Operate equipment as necessary to maintain productivity during the operator’s absence 

• Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment 

• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance 

• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements 

• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
