As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll work full-time in public schools to support students’ academic growth, engagement, and confidence. In collaboration with teachers and a diverse City Year team, you’ll provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring, monitor student progress, and help create an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment. You’ll also mentor students on attendance, behavior, and social-emotional skills. City Year offers training, coaching, and leadership development in a mission-driven culture focused on social justice, teamwork, and personal growth.
