Travel We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
for a
13-week travel assignment
at a healthcare facility. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapy professional to expand their clinical experience while working in a new healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering evidence-based therapy and achieving positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders Provide therapeutic interventions based on individual patient needs and rehabilitation goals Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home exercise programs Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, independence, and quality of life Requirements
Required:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Required:
Active
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
in the state of assignment or ability to obtain Preferred:
Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting Preferred:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and patient populations Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer
