Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Henry Ford.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a cath/EP lab. Must be able to scrub for all types of heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures. ARRT licensure acceptable with scrub experience in cath lab performing heart caths with intervention.

Required Credentials: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience.) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI). Valid BCLS certification required/ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.

Unit Details: Cath/EP lab assignment with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, percutaneous intervention, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures. Performs cardiac outputs, O2 saturations, and ACT measurements. Uses AngioJet, Rotablator, laser revascularization devices, intravascular ultrasound, Doppler velocimetry, and fluoroscopy systems. May assist with orientation and training of Cath Lab staff, special projects, and relevant committees. Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekday schedule with one variable weekday off per week. On-call required: 1 weekend per month (5p Friday–6:30a Monday) and 4 weeknights per month (5p–6:30a next day). No weekend commitment outside of on-call.
