Job Duties

  • Install residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, air handlers, and condensers
  • Complete system change-outs, replacements, and new installations with minimal supervision
  • Install and properly route line sets, condensate lines, drains, venting, and low-voltage wiring
  • Perform brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, and system start-up
  • Install, modify, and connect ductwork as needed for new and replacement systems
  • Read and interpret installation instructions, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and job plans
  • Test completed systems to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and performance
  • Identify and resolve installation issues or deficiencies before completing the job
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain completed work and system operation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area throughout each installation
  • Maintain tools, materials, and company vehicle in good working condition
  • Follow all safety procedures, applicable codes, and manufacturer requirements
  • Work independently or lead installation helpers and other team members when needed

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Strong hands-on experience installing complete HVAC systems and performing system change-outs
  • EPA 608 certification required
  • Strong mechanical ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, and system start-up
  • Solid understanding of HVAC electrical systems, controls, and low-voltage wiring
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and installation instructions
  • ServiceTitan knowledge preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and solve installation-related issues independently
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and outdoor environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
